
It’s a new town, a new cast of characters, but it is still “NCIS,” when CBS premieres “NCIS: Los Angeles,” starring Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J , this fall. Mischa Barton returns to TV this fall as troubled supermodel Sonja Stone, popping pills and trying to make a comeback after taking a six-month hiatus from her modeling career. No one understands why she had to take the break — but it is revealed in the first episode. Mischa made headlines of her own last month when she was hospitalized, and the buzz was that she was being dropped from the cast. But exec producer Ashton Kutcher stood by her, and so have her co-stars

The stars of FOX’s fall comedy, “Glee,” are hitting the road this summer to spread the word about their new show, and they’re taking ET along! The young stars, who’ve already visited cities including New York and will soon head to Philadelphia on their “Gleek” mall tour, took their Flip Mino cameras and documented everything from screaming fans to a visit to a local newsroom. The tour will take them to Washington, D.C., Chicago, Minneapolis, Houston, Dallas, Denver and Los Angeles. “Glee,” which premieres Wednesday September 9 at 9 p.m., tells the story of a schoolteacher who takes over a high school Glee Club which has fallen on hard times and tries to return it to its former glory.

Oprah Winfrey has announced that she’ll interview iconic musician Whitney Houston for the premiere episode of her upcoming 24th season. Oprah is calling Whitney’s first interview in nearly seven years, which will air on September 14, “the most anticipated music interview of the decade.” Whitney’s first new album in several years, “I Look to You,” drops on August 31.
