Gap Design Edition — now in its third year — was created to introduce CFDA winners to a wider audience, to reinvent an American classic and to offer luxurious, limited edition designs at wallet-friendly prices. This year, womenswear designers Alexander Wang (above), Vena Cava ‘s Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai and accessories designer Albertus Swanepoel were presented with the honor and challenge of reinterpreting the khaki, and they delivered.
