ET breaks news that acting legend Dennis Hopper has been rushed to a New York hospital. Sources tell ET that the actor was brought in by ambulance to the emergency room at a Manhattan hospital, wearing an oxygen mask and with numerous tubes visible. The 73-year-old Hollywood icon has been nominated for an Oscar twice — for co-writing 1969′s ‘Easy Rider,’ and for acting in 1986′s ‘Hoosiers.’
What does Lauren Conrad ‘s bestselling book, LA Candy, have in common with the wildly popular ‘ Twilight ‘ film series? The producers of the vampire franchise have reportedly acquired the screen rights to “The Hills” star’s novel. Temple Hill Entertainment partners Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey will produce the book-turned-movie, while Conrad will executive produce under her production company Blue Eyed Girl, Variety reports.
Gwyneth Paltrow is back to reprise her role as Pepper Potts in ‘Iron Man 2.’ ET’s Mark Steines sat down with her to find out what is in store for her character in the upcoming sequel. The actress told ET that the movie picks up where the first installment of the ‘Iron Man’ series left off. She said, “There’s that sexual tension” between Pepper and Tony Stark/Iron Man (played by Robert Downey, Jr.
Following their arrest last Thursday in Texas, actor Randy Quaid and his wife Evi Quaid are being asked to voluntarily return to California. The Santa Barbara District Attorney is requesting their appearance in this criminal case. Lee Carter , Senior Deputy District Attorney, told ET, “Should the defendants not agree to voluntarily return to California, or should they fail to appear on a date agreeable to both sides, then this office will seek to extradite the defendants by legal process back to California.” The Quaid’s were arrested for allegedly not paying a $10,000 hotel bill at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, CA.
